Insect screens are installed to prevent insects from entering the building, but they are also useful to keep out larger polluting items carried in the air, especially feathers, hairs, and leaves. For the production of our insect screens, we use fiberglass mesh from the American manufacturer New York Wire Company.

Standalone Roller Insect Screen

The mobile, easy-to-use insect screen, fitted with a standalone spring and requiring a minimum amount of space, has the advantage that it can be removed with a flick of the wrist after use. The screen moves between brushes in the side guides, providing full protection against insects.  It is available with a 5 x 5 cm frame which is either rectangular or arched.
Apart from the steel spring, the structure of the screen is made of aluminium and is available in white or brown at standard prices or in any RAL colour for an extra charge of 10%. In addition to the most frequently used roller version, a horizontally sliding type is also available, used especially for doors.
