 Owing to their ease of use and aesthetic appeal, aluminium venetian blinds are popular shades in both homes and offices alike. Another important reason for the prevalence of aluminium venetian blinds is their versatility: they suit an extremely wide range of trapezoid, triangular and other special door and window shapes. We use quality lacquered slats from the Swedish manufacturer OPM, 25 or 16 mm in width, offering our customers a choice of over a hundred colours and textures.
With aluminium venetian blinds operated by means of a bowden cable, the angle of the slats is adjusted with a rotating unit directly attached to the axis, while a cord is used to roll up and lower the slats. While in a rolled up position, the metal fitting installed on the door or window enables the blinds to be fastened. If the blinds are operated with a transparent plexiglass rod, then the angle is adjusted with the rod through a geared drive unit. In a rolled up position, the slats are fastened with an interlocking mechanism built into the headrail.
