Wooden Venetian Blinds – Product Information

Tango Wooden Venetian Blinds

The surface of the 2.5 to 3 mm thick slats is treated with Lignodekor non-toxic light stain. The angle of the 25 mm wide slats is adjusted with a transparent plexiglass rod usually provided with aluminium venetian blinds or with a wooden rod identical in colour to the slats. Wooden venetian blinds are operated in the same way as traditional venetian blinds, they are complete with brown or white accessories, with the headrail being hidden behind a cover identical in colour to the slats. Wooden venetian blinds are also available in motorised versions, controlled primarily by a remote control.
For composite (Teschauer) windows, only the variety operated by a bowden cable can be fitted between the two panes. Wooden venetian blinds cannot be larger than 145 cm in width and 300 cm in height. The bundle of rolled up slats takes up approximately 9-10% of the full height of the blinds, with an additional 2 cm required for the headrail.

TecnoWood Wooden Venetian Blinds

Apart from Tango wooden blinds, our company is also a distributor of TecnoWood wooden venetian blinds, produced in Italy. The prime advantage of TecnoWood wooden venetian blinds is their maximum width of 240 cm (using 50 mm wide slats). These wooden venetians are available in 5 colours, built with slats 25 or 50 mm in width, fitted with traditional cord support for slats or rails for the 50 mm type. The blinds can be operated manually or by motors. TecnoWood wooden blinds are not available in tensioned and inclined versions. We always use wood from industrial tree plantations to manufacture our wooden shades (wooden venetian blinds, wooden roller blinds, wooden vertical blinds), which means that you never support the felling of any protected trees by ordering our wooden products.
